If you want a wedding dance floor filled with Chuck Berry, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash and golden-era favourites, The Houndcats are ready to shake, rattle and roll. We are a compact, energetic live band with a vintage identity and a country twist.
Our sets are built for dancing. Many classic rock and roll songs are short, fast and instantly recognisable, which means two 45-minute sets can contain a huge number of crowd favourites. We carefully shape the running order so the energy keeps building.
Since forming in 2017, we have performed at weddings, parties, clubs and festivals throughout North East England. We bring our own sound and lighting, work comfortably in venues with or without a stage and need approximately one hour to set up and soundcheck.

Where we perform.
We perform at weddings across Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham, Northumberland, Teesside and the wider North East. We are also happy to travel throughout the UK when the date and plans are right.
Travel requirements are included clearly in your quote. Tell us your venue, date and preferred timings, and we will confirm what is possible without hidden travel surprises later.
